We’ve researched this a lot, and we came to the conclusion that both are identical. The N in the TOB-260N model simply refers to the fact that it has been manufactured more recently than the TOB-260. Perhaps Cuisinart has applied minor changes to the TOB-260 in the newer version, but there’s no added functions or design changes that make them different.

Cuisinart TOB-260 vs. Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven, What’s The Difference?

Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven with Element IQ

  • Breville BOV800XL fits a 13” pizza and 6 slices of toast.
  • It has 9 functions: Toast, Bagel, Bake, Roast, Broil, Pizza, Cookies, Reheat and Warm.
  • It has an LCD display that changes colors from blue to orange to indicate the cooking progress.
  • It has convection feature.
  • Accessories included with the oven: Baking pan, broil rack, pizza pan
  • What would set the Breville BOV800XL apart the most is it’s Elements QI technology. This smart technology ensures that your food is cooked evenly and thoroughly by distributing the heat over the 5-heating elements where and when it’s needed, depending on the cooking function you choose.
  • The Cuisinart’s special feature is the Dual Cooking Function where you can set the oven to operate two different functions one after another. So for example you can broil something, then set the timer to switch to Bake or Keep Warm to continue cooking.
